Caroline Camden Lewis. Outskirts of Paris, September Evening. Acrylic on canvas. 24″ x 36.” (2013). $550 USD
The sound. The motion gently rocks my tired body. The train. Then eyes opened. A view. Fresh and new–nothing like I’d seen before. The shimmering sunlight kissing the tips of every flower. Lake afternoon, dusk. I stare into the distance: field after field in golden light. This work seeks to capture everything beautiful in first experiences, the awe of evening light, the eyes of a traveler and the peace of wonder.
