Red October

Red October uses two types of red, two shades of brown, two hues of yellow and a vibrant orange.  As these colors blend one stroke at a time, they begin to evoke memories of turning leaves, crisp air, golden apples, round pumpkins, wooded forests and golden light.  Memories of a turning season, cooling temperatures, serene evenings and warm mugs of tea on the back porch converge on the canvas in order to remember all of autumn’s beauty in one moment.
